📖 Short Introduction 🇬🇧
Legolas, son of Thranduil, Prince of Mirkwood – yet in the tale of O.D.I.E. he is far more than a royal heir or a member of the Fellowship of the Ring.
By Ærrons Velethryion’s side he found his true home, becoming a pillar of the House of Velethryion. Not only a hero, but also husband and father: mother of the Six, the heart of the family.
In Legolas meet the elven grace and immortal beauty with courage and gentleness. He carries the very spirit of the forest in every step – and by Eru’s blessing, he holds the gift of life within himself.
Origin and Heritage 🇬🇧
Legolas Greenleaf, son of Thranduil, Prince of Mirkwood. His ancestors were of the Sindar, the Grey Elves, who turned away from the call of Valinor and made their home in the deep woods. Thus, in his blood flows both the wild freedom of the forests and the wise legacy of the Elves.
From birth he lived at the border of palace and woodland: at once a prince and a child of the forest, who understood the whisper of trees far better than the speech of courts. Though his father Thranduil was a majestic and stern ruler, in Legolas’s heart grew roots of freedom and simplicity.
Later, when his fate entwined with Ærrons Velethryion, his name was forever changed: Legolas Greenleaf Velethryion, for he became not only the son of Thranduil, but the partner, husband, and heir to the House of Velethryion.
💍 2. His Bond with Ærr 🇬🇧
Ærrons Velethryion did not enter Legolas’s life later — he was there from the very beginning. Together with Oropher he helped shape the realm of Mirkwood, and when Thranduil’s son Legolas was born, Ærr willingly became the child’s protector and guardian.
Thus it was Ærr’s arms that held him as an infant, Ærr who bathed him, taught him to walk, and later guided his first lessons in the arts of the bow and blade. To the young prince, Ærr was not only a teacher and protector, but the father-figure he always looked up to.
Their bond slowly transformed: from childlike attachment to youthful admiration, then to a fiery, jealous love in adolescence. At sixteen, Legolas confessed his feelings, but Ærr only accepted them when the prince came of age at twenty-five. Then they were wed, and their marriage has endured for over three millennia.
Thus the bond of Ærr and Legolas is no mere romance: it is a destiny woven through every moment of their lives, from the cradle’s embrace to the covenant of eternal love.

Mother of the Six 🇬🇧
Legolas bore within himself a unique gift: the mark of Eru, which granted him the power to give life though he was male. This was no work of nature but a divine blessing, uniting Ærr’s eternal flame with Legolas’s pure spirit.
Thus were born the six sons of the House of Velethryion – Elarion, Lioras, Sëlarion, Fëlarion, Lylerithion, and Gëlarion. They are not merely children, but six stars in the heavens, gifts of Eru who carry the legacy of light and strength.
For them, Legolas is not only a mother but the very essence of safety:
They drink from his csicsi, which is not only nourishment but love and protection.
Wherever he goes, they follow — there is no moment he can be alone.
Even in the smallest details of daily life, they surround him, as if without him the world itself would cease to be.
For this reason the people of the forest call him the “Prince-Mother”: for Legolas is not only Ærr’s husband and partner, but the heart and home of six sons.
His Role in O.D.I.E. 🇬🇧
In O.D.I.E., Legolas’s tale does not end with the deeds of the Fellowship of the Ring. Though in the memory of Men he is chiefly remembered as an archer and companion of Aragorn, his true role was far greater.
He is the one who binds the myth of the past through Ærr with the hope of the future carried by their children. In Legolas’s heart dwell the grace of the Elves, the gentleness of a nurturing mother, and the courage of a warrior.
The heart of the family: he gives life, nourishes, and protects.
The mirror of Ærr’s light: he alone can calm divine power and soften it into love.
A bridge among peoples: through him, Elves, Men, and Dwarves find peace and kinship.
Within the O.D.I.E. world, Legolas is not merely a character but a living symbol: proof that love and family are stronger than any war, and brighter than any darkness.
- Symbolic Significance 🇬🇧
The figure of Legolas Greenleaf Velethryion reaches beyond any single tale. He is the bridge between the old and the new, binding Ærr’s legacy and the world of Elves to the future of Men.
As husband: partner to the eternal union of Light and Shadow, whose gentleness and loyalty bring balance to Ærr’s might.
As father/mother: the heart and home of the Six, through whom Eru’s blessing continues to live in the world.
As hero: the archer of the War of the Ring, who proved that the light of the Elves has not faded.
Legolas’s symbolic meaning within O.D.I.E. is that love, family, and loyalty are greater powers than any war. He stands as proof that not only battles and myths shape the world, but also home, embrace, and shared mornings.
🐾 Trivia 🇬🇧
Legolas is deadly jealous of Ærr: if he feels his husband’s attention drifting to anyone else (even for a moment), he immediately shifts into a pouty “cat-mode.”
If Ærr goes more than two days without embracing or making love to him, Legolas becomes almost furious, yet pleading, demanding his affection.
He is madly in love with his husband – and though sometimes dramatic, it is only proof that Ærr is the very center of his world.
Understandably so, for Ærrons Velethryion is the embodiment of manhood in Arda: strength, protection, and majesty in one.
To the world, Legolas is a fierce warrior and hero, immortalized in Arda’s history with his bow and courage.
But beside Ærr, he is only a little cat, always craving attention and care.
For him, this is natural, for in his mind, “that is Daddy’s job”: to love, to watch over, and to hold him – always, at every moment.
This duality – the hero and the kitten – is what makes him truly unique in the world of O.D.I.E.
